New Site is coming .. not to far away now!

We are really close to finishing up our new site so we are all really sorry for the lack of updates as its been quite a time consuming process to get every single piece of stock photographed and added to the new site. Dealers will soon be able to log in at any time to do your ordering and check stock levels and all that good gear. We will have a lot more fresh content all the time on our team of riders all over the place and alot more interesting things to look at whilst you waste your time on the information super highway! In the meantime dont forget about all the new stuff that just keeps rolling through the door and then on to all the rad stores all over the country that are building BMX from the ground up .New Animal Slim fit jeans are now in all sizes in both rad colours a washed out black and Levis Blue. Matt From Tempered sent down some pics from his now infamous Filthy Ditch Drains that went down over the weekend
a good time was had by all accounts and im extra siked on the this pic of Nick Cooper boosting a long shot, Cooper had Crandall and myself in hysterics with his crazy ghetto stories of his time in the states when we caught up with him on the FBM tour. His Stories could bring a tear to a glass eye so cheers for that Nick. Congrats must go out to Matty for running another independent event of his own back and we were more than happy to help out again with Animal proddy. Since the FBM Wizards of Oz tour rolled through the East Coast of Australia we have seen more and more crew starting to ride FBMs. From Kids starting out on the Executioner entry level bikes all the way up to store owners getting on high end frames,

Well Once Kane walked back in the door with the DTs from too much caffeine and energy drinks from his 25 Hour Drive back from Brisbane to Adelaide i knew the FBM/Stowaway Wizards of Oz Tour had come to an end. What a trip! I want to extend my sincere thanks and best wishes to the following(in no particular order) Kelvin Pentland, Kie Ashworth, Pat Oneil, Lou Reeves, Peter Koh, Kenny Horton ,Garrett Guillams, Steve Crandall, Kane Chappell, Dave Rubinich , Damon and Bec Andrews, The Mcblane family, Mitch Donnely and Family, Matt Lawnton, Bently Fitzgerald ,Wolfy and housemates. Rhys Williams and the Backbone Crew, Dubbo Caravan park and Big Will, Coffs Harbour moonlight, Stradbroke island kegs, Nick Cooper and the Beenleigh Wildcats and to all of the rad dudes we met, chilled , rode , sank beers with and generally made me realize what an awesome place we live in Thanks for the good times! Not much really the Wizards of Oz tour has been a totally amazing trip so far and there is still a few more days to go. We are up in Lismore right now staying with Damon Andrews from Stay True, Damon and i have been friends via mail long before digital cameras existed. Damon is now the proud owner of 32 hectares of prime land out side of Byron Bay with trails in progress and a baby on the way you could say Damon is a proud man. Look for extended coverage in 2020 , Focal Point and Dig Magazine in the next few months...

Well its that time of year again. the end of summer means time for a tour! FBM gets the nod this time around and we are rocking it grassroots this time around. Tents , swags and bbqs are the order of the day on this one, The whole idea of this trip is to get back to one of the fundamentals of BMX. Fun. Traveling and BMX go hand in hand and we are starting in Canberra this friday morning and will be weaving a spell of Gypsy BMX magic from there all the way to the gold coast on a ten day magical mystery tour. From Canberra to Sydney to Newcastle to Dubbo to Lismore to Byron Bay and then finally onto the Goldy. Keep tuned for updates and stories from the road. Heres the crew . Steve Crandall , Garrett Guilams , Kenny Horton , Kie Ashworth ,Peter Koh, Pat Oneil,
Mike Corts , Lou Reeves, Kelvin Pentland, Kane Chappell , Jamie Moore and Dave Rubinch is holding down Cameraman duties.

Obviously nothing is closer to all Australians hearts than the Horrific bushfires that have tormented Victoria over the last few weeks, All of us here at Stowaway want to send sympathy to anyone that has been affected by these terrible events and hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for all involved. Loads of concerned riders and stores have begun putting there money where there mouth is which is great to see , Little Black Bike in Adelaide, The Sanction in Albury and Strictlybmx.com in Melbourne have all had or are in the process of having Benefits to raise money for the victims. Dig deep dudes someone you know in some way or another has been affected by this tragedy. In other news in case you were wondering why we have been short on the web updates over the last two weeks its because we have moved! We have moved to a bigger facility to better handle the stock levels we need to have to keep all of your favourite stores stocked up. That said our internet and phone services are slowly getting back up to speed so our apologies if you have not been able to get though to us over the last few weeks.

Winter on the East Coast...

This is the view from the back porch when i got up today, The same as the last two weeks actually what can i say but winter on the East Coast of the USA is a tough one. Thank god for snowboarding is all i can say! Went down to check on the progression of Catty woods today and actually could not even leave the neighborhood for the ice! The Animal Crew know how to deal with the harsh winters over here better than anyone. Mike Osso who rides for Animal on their pro team knows whats up. Mike aint scared of a solid 12 hour day working the books and doing alot of the admin that is needed to keep Animal at the top of the game. When the siren sounds though you can bet Osso is straight on the steed and firing Bars and tabes untill the early hours at the Animal Warhouse ramps. Osso is the man. More news when i can safely leave the suburb.

Just got back in from a roadtrip from Newcastle out to the western NSW town of Dubbo riding with Peter Koh and Luke Mcblane
seriously one of the best trips i have ever been on. Cheers to Pat and all the other locals up there for being super cool hosts and also thanks to David @ Darrel Wheeler Cycles for helping me with some loose crank issues while i was i there. The park itself is well worth a trip from wherever you are in Oz and your in luck if you live there or like me you need help with your rig
because David is one of the most helpful bike shop owners around. beg, borrow or steal your way out to tide this park today.

Well first of all the obligatory reference to a lack of updates over the last few weeks. please keep the family and friends of Tim Hale in your thoughts as we all know how much of a good affect Tim had on the scene in Melbourne and beyond. Its been a crazy year with people all over losing loved ones and being eternally scarred so please stay safe wherever you are. Kie Ashworth checked in from the East Coast of the USA where he has been tearing it up all over the shop. According to Crandall and JP he is making great use of his first solo pro trip and is already planning his next US adventure. Good bro and Bicycle Union Team rider Luke Mcblane always makes full use of his days and Nathan Searle was nice enough to send over this image of some textbook style that only comes from riding your bike a whole bunch. Veteran FBM team rider Peter Koh was recently up in NT seeing his brother and taking in some quality fishing time insert a smile on Petes face whenever the fishing is good. So Sorry to everyone that has been awaiting the release of our new website,Our designers and the crew here have all been working flat out to make sure the new site is worth the wait, More news on that as it comes to hand but trust me its coming and its going to be a belter!

Well the Long Awaited FBM bikes finally made there appearance last week and have now officially all shipped out to there new homes all around OZ, Sam over in NZ told me his bikes have already been with him for a few days as well. We are totally stoked on how they tuned out and could not be happier to hear the great feedback from the stores about them. After arriving in Adelaide, we had a chilled tuesday. rode a good mates backyard setup! cheers chook!

on wednesday we set off to the wildlife park for some aussie animal action. everybody was stoked to see kangaroos and koala's in person.

we hit a few spots around canberra, erindale, the streets etc.
after canberra, we took the 8hr drive and headed to melbourne.
chilled the first day, rode the banks.

Headed out to helensburgh to ride the skate park. rain got us again so we headed to Warzone bmx to check out there store. Last minute notice Karla and Darren wound up a heap of kids and they all were stoked to meet the team.
Was awesome to see the effort gone into it by such short notice.

Corey, Metro and Nathan did some riding on there indoor ramp out back.
kids got some tour Ts signed

the rain stopped, so we headed to menai skate park for a ride.
was alot of people there and was hard to get some runs in, but managed to get some good clips.
this kid tried his first ever backflip. got it second go sweet. he was stoked.

we threw out some stickers and Ts to kids in the bowl.

one of the small tshirts turned into an xlarge after all the kids fighting for it haha. this kid got it, and was amped!

after that, weather was looking better.
we headed out for some more street riding.

Good weather and helpful amounts of digging over the winter have meant that the trails around the ADL area have been sessioned heavilly of late with good sessions abound , One of FBMs favourite sons in Australia Brad Grantham has been taking full advantage of the situation and hitting up the sessions every afternoon shredding at will. Animal bikes owner Ralph Sinisi is over here for the ADL-Dishonour ditch jam on sunday and is helping us out with a little raffle your local shop will here about this over the next few weeks .(hint it could mean you winning a full new setup)

One of the Terrible One Bros in Australia is currently living the life in ATX right now - im sure Mr Naturals is selling out the buffett every lunch becasue of this guy, Thanks to Bicylcle Union Bro Luke Mcblane for the pic of Rusty in NJ with a truck that could only happen in the USA, closer to us here in ADL is our newest United Team rider Josh Kathigitis busting a surly gap from launch over the footpath and into the street. Josh rides with stlye and finesse and we are siked to have him on board for United down under. Josh Joins Rick Heywood From the Gold Coast and Kym Bridgland from Newcastle on the United Team.

Kane Chappell has been with Stowaway Distribution for over 2 years now and he is very knowledgable about all the products we sell and has been know to bust out a stunt or two in his day . Kanes rig is one of only two FBM frames in existence that combine the dimensions of the trusted Deployer frame with the tubing thickness of a Bitchin Camaro , need less to say his rig is light and tight. Airing Flasgstaff bowl at 8.00 am is not the easiest thing to do but i thought you all might appreciate seeing us practicing what we preach.
